With all components packaged in a 48-foot weather-resistant container with sound attenuation, the Cat XQ2280 generator is ideal for rental applications. Equipped with the EMCP 4.4 digital control panel, the generator set offers easy access to controls and a programmable logic controller functionality to accommodate changes in processes or application requirements.
External features, such as the fuel and diesel exhaust (DEF) fuel fill ports and a user-friendly touch screen, simplify the mobile solution’s use. For added convenience, remotely track and manage the Cat XQ2280 generator set with Cat Connect technology via a mobile device.
Designed with a dual-wall 1,050-gallon fuel tank, the Cat XQ2280 power module can deliver up to 10 hours of prime operation. The highly mobile generator set is also remote fuel and DEF tank capable for utility operations and continuous operations. Engineered for fast installation and diverse applications, the XQ2280 generator is available in an optional cold weather package for operations in extreme weather conditions.
